About the event
How do you feel when you know you need to have a difficult conversation with a colleague? If you're like most of us, the creeping sense of dread is very real!!!
Don't worry- help is here! Part of effective leadership is knowing how to approach difficult conversations in ways that are:

* Clear, kind & focused
* Leave all parties feeling supported, motivated & clear about the steps forward
Knowing how to have effective conversations can significantly improve the development & morale of your team, & their efficiency in the workplace. These are essential skills for any experienced or new leader.
Facilitated by Jen Gibbons (clinical team leader & counsellor), in this workship you'll learn how to:
* Identify & confidently plan for difficult conversations
* Have conversations that leave others feeling heard, understood & clear about expectations from their work
* Develop your team to be excited about your shared focus & goals
* Set up a culture of feedback that helps your team do their best work
Jen has extensive experience in leadership & change management, having held leadership roles in DCJ, Headspace & Mindful Recovery Services (amongst others). Jen is passionate in supporting new & established leaders to love their jobs & their teams.
