Topic for our September meeting- 'Changing Approaches to Risk Assessment'.
This free CPD session will explore how assessment of risk for persistent suicidality & self harm is changing.
New risk assessment frameworks look at patterns of behaviour over time (and specifically changes to behaviour), and lethality of means as a better indicator of risk then intent or specificity of plan.
This is a vital topic for all working in the mental health field.
