MADISON PARROTT

SOCIAL WORKER & CLINICAL TEAM LEADER

Madison (Madi) is a Social Worker with over 16 years of experience supporting at-risk young people and individuals navigating complex mental health challenges.

 

As the Clinical Team Lead at Mindful Recovery Services, Madison leads with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care, specialising in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed practices.

Madi is currently accepting new client referrals and welcomes enquiries for individual or group supervision.

Focuses on integrating skills and knowledge for distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

Trauma Therapy

Supporting the safe processing of trauma through a collaborative and flexible tri-phased approach.

Madi offers individual therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as professional supervision for clinicians seeking to deepen their trauma-informed approach and integrate DBT principles into their work. She is passionate about fostering resilience and empowering both clients and professionals to create meaningful, lasting change.

Bachelor of Social Sciences (Child Protection); University of the Sunshine Coast (2011)
 

Experience

Madi has over 16yrs of experience working in a range of mental health settings, & has particular speciality skills in complex youth mental health. 

Madi has previously held roles in homelessness settings, youth support services & the Department of Education. She has has completed additional training in:

- Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT)

- Trauma-Informed Care Certification

- RAGE (Anger Management for Youth)

- Co-occuring Mental Health & AOD Disorders

- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
