WHY

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY?

DBT is a well researched, empirically supported program for the treatment of emotion regulation difficulties and BPD.

 

DBT is a cognitive-behavioural based therapy, with the addition of mindfulness and acceptance based philosophies. There is a focus on synthesising different, often conflicting perspectives (dialectics) - primary of those is accepting who you are but also striving for change.

 

DBT is considered the gold-standard treatment for borderline personality disorder & self harm. DBT is practical & skills-based- no 'airy fairy' therapy here!

 

DBT is especially great for those who may have tried other forms of treatment before without much improvement- DBT is often the difference needed to make real, long-term change.

Our DBT group programs are evidence-based & provide the ideal way to learn essential skills for long-term emotional resilience. 

Small groups are education-style & provide a safe & supportive space to learn new skills & strategies.

12 - Week DBT Group

Weekly 2 hour DBT skills group across 12 weeks

12 - Month DBT Group

Weekly 2 hour DBT skills group including: - Individual therapy session - Phone coaching text support - PLUS: X3 Family sessions

12 - Month Online DBT Group

Weekly 2 hour DBT skills group including: - Individual therapy session - Phone coaching text support - Fully online

1:1 SUPPORT

Our skilled clinicians provide individual sessions designed to help you develop essential DBT skills. We focus on building a supportive, trusting relationship, guiding you to create a life of meaning and fulfilment.
